Testimonies of Jesus (John 5:31-47)
In this passage, Jesus confronts the religious leaders with their inability to recognize Him as the Messiah. According to Jewish law, the testimony of two or three witnesses is necessary to establish truth (Deuteronomy 19:15). Jesus provides four: John the Baptist, His miraculous works, the Father Himself, and the Scriptures.
